Vedas are also called “Shruti”. Vedas are compilations of thousands of Sanskrit “Mantras” which are considered to be divine knowledge of pre-historic times. There are four Vedas namely “Rigved, Yajurved, Samved and Atharvaved”. Arya Samajis consider reading, teaching and propagation of Vedas to be their primary duty.
